MaruMugi, a beer pub on the second floor of Ichibankan Building at 1 Arakicho, Shinjuku, announced its beer menu for July 31. The base pricing is JPY 1,200+tax for a large pour and JPY 900+tax for a small pour, with some selections carrying an additional JPY 100.

The lineup features five beers from breweries around Japan: "MEET² (Meat & Meat) / Baird Brewing x Shibataya Sake Shop (Shizuoka Pref.)", a Session IPA designed to pair with meat dishes; "Akita no Momo no Sour / HOPDOG BREWING (Akita)", a dry fruit beer with the aroma of Akita peaches; "Cool Breeze Pils / Baird Brewing (Shizuoka)", a summer-only Bohemian pils; "Schwarz / Baeren Bier (Iwate Pref.)", a roasty but surprisingly light schwarzbier; and "Purple Jet Sky / Y.MARKET BREWING (Aichi)", a more hop-loaded, refreshing pale ale.

The range is broad enough to cover a first pint, a food-pairing beer, and something to sip more slowly at the end of the night. Marumugi also notes that it has been closed on Tuesdays and public holidays since December 5, 2024. For a final-day-of-the-month visit, this is a well-balanced draft list built around variety rather than volume.
