The April 4 tap list has 10 beers

CRAFT BEER BASE BUD is a beer pub located on the second basement floor of Osaka Ekimae Building No. 1 in Umeda, Osaka. On April 4, it will be open from 12:00 to 22:30, with last call for beer at 22:00, and the taps are arranged to suit a time frame that makes it easy to stop by from daytime into night.

That day’s lineup includes the collaboration beer `Gentle Lion`, the house-brewed `Sorachi Kinshinya BMK3ver.`, `Wakyo AridagawaMikan`, `JELLY KING`, `AVENTINUS`, `UNION JACK`, `A La Playa`, `Ocean Thunder`, `Summer Sapling`, and `Namacchan no Lager`. From sour ale to West Coast IPA, wheat doppelbock, and Dortmunder, the range of styles is one of the hallmarks of the selection.

What stands out in particular is Trademark’s `Ocean Thunder`. In the post, it is introduced as a light, dry West Coast IPA made with Nelson, Strata, and Citra. The recipe, which was previously closer to a Cold IPA, was revised and finished in a cleaner direction using rice and lager yeast. It is a beer that pushes the hop character forward while keeping the drinking experience brisk and light.

The lineup also includes well-known staples such as Bellwoods’ `JELLY KING`, Firestone Walker’s `UNION JACK`, and Schneider Weisse’s `AVENTINUS`. Set in the basement of Osaka Ekimae Building, the taps line up like a snapshot of craft beer’s wide spectrum.
