Beer Cafe Gambrinus, just a one-minute walk from the south exit of Kokubunji Station, posted a summer update on July 22 that combined business information with its current tap lineup.

Seasonal programs

The first highlight is the Kokubeji Blueberry Festa, running from July 25 to August 2. Because the bar is closed on Sundays, Gambrinus says its own participation will run through August 1. For the event, the shop is serving seasonal food made with local Kokubunji blueberries: `Blueberry and marshmallow hot sandwich` and `Fried camembert with Kokubeji blueberry jam`. Blueberries are also used as a brewing ingredient in some craft beers, so the pairing angle makes sense for beer drinkers.

A second summer program follows from August 4 to August 15: the annual Okinawa Fair. During that period, Orion draft beer will be on permanent pour, offering a crisp option for hot weather.

On tap

The post lists 12 beers under “Today’s Tap.” The selection spans hazy IPA, saison, radler, alt, wheat beer, Schwarzbier, and classic Czech lager.

- Be Easy `Tohoku 6 Hops` [Hazy IPA]
- Isekadoya Beer `Meyer Lemon Radler`
- Yokohama Beer `Alt`
- Flora Fermentation `Koropokuru` [Saison with spruce chips]
- Ogna `Alps Weizen`

Coming soon

The post also previews seven beers under “Coming Soon,” including Touchdown `Shirakaba Beat`, Craft Rock `Live Take Over`, Y.Market `Trail Current`, and Ushi Tora `Hop Sniper IPA`.

For a bar that focuses on Japanese craft beer on draft, the post gives a clear snapshot of both its current pours and its seasonal direction. If you're following the Kokubunji beer scene, this is one update worth noting.
