Meguro's THE DODO HOUSE adds two new taps for April 8

Tokyo's Meguro-based "Craft Beer & Wine THE DODO HOUSE" released its tap list for April 8. The two new additions are Barbaric Works' "Nostalgia" and Baeren Brewery's "Rye Ale," which have joined the lineup.

As a beer pub, the shop is known for creating a space where guests can relax and enjoy craft beer and wine. In its post, it noted that table seating is full today, while counter seats are available, suggesting an atmosphere that is also ideal for dropping in casually and enjoying a glass. Business hours are from 17:00 to 24:00.

Tap lineup for the day

- Barbaric Works / Nostalgia
- Baeren Brewery / Rye Ale
- Ushiku Brewery / Gathering the Wind
- Y.Market Brewing / Super IPA
- Miyazaki Hideji Beer / Miyazaki Grapefruit White Lager
- Ishinomaki Hoppworks / Ishinomaki Sea Breeze IPL
- Noboru Brewing / Noboru
- Udon Brewing / Yuzu Oroshi Udon Hazy IPA

The newly tapped "Nostalgia" is an American pilsner brewed with Cascade as a single hop. Its aroma suggests grapefruit and florals, while its crisp, dry mouthfeel is followed by a citrus finish. It is the kind of beer where the hop character stands out clearly within a simple design, making it well suited to those who want to slowly savor its flavor profile.

Meanwhile, "Rye Ale" is a Roggenbier based on a traditional South German style. It offers aromas reminiscent of rye bread, with banana and clove notes, along with a subtle acidity and a creamy thickness. The post also introduces it as an "ancient beer style," making it a special glass served by advance reservation.

In addition, the lineup includes Y.Market Brewing's IPA, Miyazaki Hideji Beer's white lager, Ishinomaki Sea Breeze IPL, a pour from Noboru Brewing, and Udon Brewing's Hazy IPA, offering a wide range of options from light lagers to aromatic IPAs and more distinctive styles.

If you're looking for a beer that matches your mood in Meguro, a place like THE DODO HOUSE, with such a broad lineup, is reassuring. There is pleasure in sitting at the counter, looking over the tap list, and working through the beers that catch your interest.
