DevilCraft Kanda to host SHIOKAZE BREW LAB tap takeover on July 18
DevilCraft’s Tokyo-based brewery and its Kanda venue, The Corner, will host a SHIOKAZE BREW LAB tap takeover on July 18. Six beers are scheduled to pour, with guest appearances planned from 3 p.m.
DevilCraft, which has been brewing in Tokyo since 2015, will host a SHIOKAZE BREW LAB tap takeover at The Corner in Kanda on July 18. In an Instagram post on July 17, the venue announced that six taps will be dedicated to guest beers the following day.
The planned lineup is:
- Senior Moment (Hoppy Lager) 7.1%
- Cascade Yazamani (Pale Ale) 5.2%
- Grampa's Steam (California Common) 5.6%
- Mango Impact (Fruited Pale Ale) 6.1%
- Citrus Mayhem IPA (Fruited IPA) 7.4%
- ONE their anniversary beer (Specialty Ale) 7.6%
The post also says that Chris and Mike are expected to visit from 3 p.m. For drinkers who want to compare styles side by side, the appeal is straightforward: six different beers from the same brewery, all available in one place.
DevilCraft is known for its Chicago-style pizza as well as its own beer program. That background makes the event more than a simple guest tap release; it is a chance to pair a visiting brewery’s lineup with one of Tokyo’s better-known craft-beer and pizza destinations. The Corner’s Kanda location also makes it an easy stop for anyone looking for a beer-focused evening in central Tokyo.
