On Tap

At vivo! BEER + DININGBAR, a craft-beer pub tucked away in the basement near Ikebukuro East Exit, the team is serving 20 draft beers and adjusting service to the weather. Because the day was so hot, the keg fridge was set 2°C colder. The idea is simple: keep the first sip refreshingly cold, then let the beer open up as the temperature rises and the aroma changes. On Saturdays, the bar opens at 3 p.m.

Two New Beers

- Vit Nat IPA
A collaboration between Minoh Beer and BREWSKI. Citrus brightness and tropical aroma sit over a gentle bitterness, making for a well-balanced IPA.
- Ichi-go Ichi-e
Kyoto Brewing's saison, defined by mild bitterness and a soft, smooth mouthfeel. It aims to deliver both drinkability and satisfying body.

The rest of the board stretches across a wide range of styles: Minoh Beer W-IPA, Shiga Kogen's KASUMI and SHIGA KOGEN IPA 2.03 Center of the Vniverse, Inkhorn Brewing's Flocking 2026#2 and Bulbul, Kanpai Brewing's Minamizaka Blueberry Sour, NOBLE CIDER's Standard Bearer, Devil Craft's Single Barrel-aged Midnight Seduction, draft Guinness, and Heartland. It is a lineup that makes style-to-style comparison easy, from IPAs and saisons to sours, stouts, and cider.

The appeal here is not only the selection, but the way the pub frames it. A cool basement room, a broad tap list, and beers that show different expressions as they warm slightly in the glass. For drinkers looking to spend time with flavor rather than just finish a pint, this is a strong place to stop in.
