Hideji Beer, based in Nobeoka, Miyazaki, has announced the general release of Kyushu Craft Kyushu Lime Ale on Tuesday, October 27, 2026. The beer is being introduced as a participating product in PLAY CRAFT BEER ACTIONS.

PLAY CRAFT BEER ACTIONS is a project launched by craft breweries from across Japan with the theme of “making Japanese beer more enjoyable.” Kyushu Lime Ale is part of that broader effort to connect breweries and expand the ways people experience craft beer.

As its name suggests, the beer is designed around the refreshing character of lime. Citrus-forward beers can bring a bright aromatic lift and a lively impression to the glass, making them appealing for casual drinking as well as food pairings. Hideji Beer has not indicated all product specifications in the available announcement, so details such as alcohol content and package format should be confirmed through the brewery’s official information.

Hideji Beer also produces the Kyushu Craft range, a regional brand built around ingredients from Kyushu. Its lineup includes beers made with Kyushu-grown barley and hops, along with fruit-focused releases featuring local citrus and fruit such as Hyuganatsu, yuzu, kumquat, and kabosu. The brand aims to express Kyushu’s regional character through beer while expanding its reach from Miyazaki to the wider region and beyond.

Kyushu Lime Ale brings together Hideji Beer’s focus on local identity and the collaborative spirit of PLAY CRAFT BEER ACTIONS. Once general sales begin, it will offer beer drinkers another opportunity to explore the brewery’s approach to bright, regionally inspired flavors.
