The beer pub CRAFT BEER BASE BUD, located on B2 of Osaka Ekimae Building No. 1 near Osaka Station in Osaka, has published its tap list for Friday, April 9. Hours are 4:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., with the last beer order at 10:00 p.m. In the underground shopping area of Umeda, it's an easy stop after work, and the lineup makes it possible to sample a broad range of styles in small pours.

There were two new kegs tapped that day. One is Kyoto Brewing's "The Disappeared Blanket," a Brett IPA with a playful twist. The other is NOMCRAFT's "Moonbow Sheep," an IPA made with sansho pepper and coriander. Both are lined up as beers to enjoy not only for their familiar hop character, but also for the way their aromas are designed.

There are also beers with distinct personalities on tap.

- CRAFT BEER BASE × Matt Brynildson "Gentle Lion": Modern American Pale Ale
- CRAFT BEER BASE "leaf": CRAFT BEER BASE
- Bellwoods "JELLY KING": Dry Hopped Sour Ale
- Georgetown "Black Gates": Cascadian Dark Ale
- Swanlake, Yamamorido, Heiwacraft, KaruizawaQ "Album": Düsseldorf Style Altbier
- Y.Market "12 Da Capo": Köln Style Kölsch
- Sante Adairius Rustic Ales "Summer Sapling": Hoppy Belgian Blonde
- Flora Fermentation "Golem": Czech Style Pale Lager

In addition to hop-forward pale ales and IPAs, the list also includes sour ales, dark ales, altbier, kölsch, Belgian blonde, and Czech-style pale lager, making for a lineup that can shift the impression from the first glass to the last. In particular, if you slip in labels with lager character like "Golem," or beers with sharper bitterness or acidity like "JELLY KING" and "Black Gates," the breadth of today's taps becomes easier to see.

CRAFT BEER BASE BUD is an easy place to choose beer calmly around Umeda Station. Its location on B2 also makes it easy to drop in without worrying about the weather. This lineup, which includes two new kegs, is well suited for anyone who wants to compare different styles side by side.
