BEER CAFE GAMBRINUS, a beer pub one minute on foot from the south exit of Kokubunji Station, announced its service lineup for Saturday, May 30, 2026 on Instagram. On Saturdays it opens at 3 p.m., making it a place where you can relax and enjoy draft beer alongside dishes prepared by a Japanese cuisine chef.

That day's food theme is early summer. The menu includes seasonal items such as `Shari-shari pickled plum`, `chilled tomato tofu`, `tomato and myoga with salted kelp`, `stir-fried green beans with spicy miso`, `grilled zucchini simmered in sauce`, `summer vegetables simmered and chilled`, `fried okra`, `chef's whim nanbanzuke`, and `rare-fried kanpachi cutlet`. It is arranged so you can pair everything from light appetizers to substantial dishes while taking into account differences in beer temperature and style.

On tap, three labels marked with stars were opened: `Hino Brewing / Hino Berry Ale`, `Y Market Brewing / Beatex #1.3 Rainy Jacket`, and `Touchdown / Rock Weizen`. In addition, the lineup included `Ushitora / Carefully Simmered Pils`, `Kakegawa Farm / Cloudy Sky`, `Number Nine / Dolce Vita IPA`, `Ogna / Amber Ale`, `Yokohama Bay Brewing / Steel Soul Fixie IPA`, `Craft Beer Base / Pale Ale`, `Miyazaki Hideji Beer / Kemurihige Stout`, `U.B.P Brewery / Keyaki Forward`, `Fermentary / Grape-y`, and `Pilsner Urquell`. Also announced as Coming Soon were `Hansharo Beer / Parallel World`, `Great Dane / Everyday IPA`, `Black Tide / Full Power`, and `Johana Beer / Hikiyama Black`.

The interior is completely non-smoking, with no cover charge and free Wi-Fi. With five counter seats, 14 table seats, and standing room for about six people, it works well for solo drinking or hopping around for a few drinks with friends. If you're following rotating Japanese craft beers in Kokubunji, this is a place to check alongside the classic Pilsner Urquell.
