Better life with upcycle, the Ebina-based brewery, announced on Instagram that it plans to open its direct shop, Third Grain, at 4-48 Sumiyoshi-cho, Naka-ku, Yokohama, in July 2026. In the post, the team also thanked supporters for helping bring the project this far.
The brand comes from a bakery founded in 1923 and has built its beer line around upcycling bread crusts. Its base remains in Ebina, Kanagawa, and the brewery has expanded its presence through events and product releases.
The new shop is planned as a taproom cafe during the day, with coffee service, and as a taproom in the evening. According to the post, the goal is to create a comfortable space where carefully made bread, food, and craft beer can be enjoyed together. The team says more details, including the exact opening date, will be shared on the shop's own account, @thirdgrain_yokohama.
