September schedule and upcoming appearances

Magic Hour Kyodo has published its September calendar. The basement beer pub near Kyodo Station is known for pairing six taps of domestic craft beer with curry and achar, and this post lays out both regular service and off-site activity.

According to the schedule, there are no full closing days in September. On staff-absent days, the bar will operate with light snacks only. Those dates are 9/1, 6, 7, 10, 15, 17, 23, 28, 29, and 30. The post notes that several days are tied to curry service outside Kyodo, so the team will be away more often than usual.

Key events

- 9/6: RIKRI BREWING TAPROOM 1st ANNIVERSARY. The shop will provide special food for the anniversary event in Gakugei-Daigaku.
- 9/29-30: Tokyo Curry Expo 2026. At Okubo Park in Shinjuku, the shop will join one of Japan's largest curry festivals as the only beer bar in the lineup, serving Indian-influenced curry.
- 10/18: Beer & Mölkky @ Machida Shibahiro. In collaboration with Kimama Craft Beer Stand, the event will feature an original beer and a Mölkky match. Magic Hour Kyodo also plans a Mölkky-special beer brewed with Better life with upcycle.

The appeal of Magic Hour Kyodo is its underground setting and the easy pairing of craft beer with spice-led food. This calendar suggests a busy late summer into autumn, with both in-house service and wider event appearances to watch on the shop's Instagram.
