New Tap

At vivo! BEER+DININGBAR, a basement craft beer pub in Ikebukuro East Exit, Inkhorn Brewing’s White-eyed Vireo has just been tapped. The shop describes it as a hazy IPA that looks soft but drinks surprisingly dry, with a firm bitterness and a sharp finish. For drinkers who want haze with structure, it is an interesting pick.

The bar lists 20 draft beers, and this lineup includes Inkhorn Brewing’s Buncho 2026#3 and Aracari, Y.MARKET Brewing’s Mata Ashita Hazy IPA, and TOKYO ALEWORKS’ Ikebukuro Night Owl. The range is broad: pale ale, West Coast IPA, hazy IPA, double IPA, stout, and cider all appear on the board, making it easy to compare styles in one visit.

Food is also part of the appeal. The seasonal menu includes rosemary pork rillettes, mentaiko and edamame potato salad, a chilled summer vegetable omelet, and spaghetti with shirasu and fresh tomato. It is the kind of place where you can focus on beer without giving up a proper meal.

Hours are practical for after-work drinking: weekdays from 4 p.m., Saturdays from 3 p.m., and Sundays and holidays from 3 p.m. On Mondays it closes at 10 p.m., with the following day closed. It works well for a quick stop or a longer tasting session.
