Choryo Shuzo will hold its 28th Kurabiraki at Choryo Brew Park in Koryo Town, Nara, on Sunday, November 15, from 10:00 to 16:00. Admission is free, and the event will be held rain or shine. The brewery, known for sake and also active in craft beer, is setting up the day around limited releases, food, and live programs.
At the sales area, visitors can expect kurabiraki-only items such as the first pressing sake and Kurabiraki Lager, along with a limited lucky bag. Other items include freshly pressed sake lees, narazuke, cheese, and original T-shirts. The sake bar will pour the brewery's signature sake, while the craft beer taps will serve rice lager, Kurabiraki Lager, IPA, and other draft beers available at the brew park.
Food offerings include freshly made sake-kasu soup and oden with Yamato beef tendon. The stage program will feature erhu music and a rock-paper-scissors contest with prizes. An original Choryo eco bag will be given to the first 2,000 guests at the reception.
The notice also says printed DM invitations will not be sent this year, so visitors should check the Instagram post and other social channels for updates. The second-floor seating area will be reservation-based and lottery-selected to reduce congestion, with applications accepted from October 1 to 10 and winners notified on October 16. Parking will be unavailable on the day, so visitors are asked to come by public transport, about an 8-minute walk from Hashio Station on the Kintetsu Tawaramoto Line.
