Fukui-based brewery OUR BREWING will once again take part in the Craft Beer Train, hosted by Hapi-line Fukui. On September 27, guests can enjoy a tasting of three beers, local food, and a scenic rail journey linking Fukui, Takefu, and Tsuruga.

A one-day beer event on the rails
OUR BREWING, a craft beer brand based in Fukui City, will bring back its Craft Beer Train in 2026. Hosted by Hapi-line Fukui, the event will run on Sunday, September 27, with the train connecting Fukui, Takefu, and Tsuruga. For the evening, the train itself becomes a moving venue for craft beer and regional food.
Guests will receive three 350 ml glasses of OUR BREWING craft beer for a tasting session, with additional servings available. Each participant will also receive one can of beer featuring an original event design.
The food offering includes a special light meal prepared by Niku wa Nakano, featuring Fukui Wagyu Fukufuku. The combination of local beef, craft beer, and views from the train gives passengers a different way to experience Fukui’s food and rail route.
Schedule and ticket information
The train is scheduled to depart Fukui Station at 4:50 p.m. and arrive at Takefu at 5:05 p.m. It will leave Takefu at 5:41 p.m., reach Tsuruga at 6:06 p.m., and depart Tsuruga at 6:38 p.m. The return to Fukui is scheduled for 7:17 p.m. Passengers cannot get off at intermediate stations.
The ticket costs ¥6,000 per person, including food, drinks, and the train fare. Hapi-line Fukui fan club members receive a ¥500 discount. Reservations are accepted through the event’s online booking form, while event inquiries should be directed to Hapi-line Fukui.
