Mihama Base in Makuhari Opens Isekadoya Beer Nekojima and Alpine Duet
WORLD BEER&DINING MIHAMA BASE in Makuhari has added two new taps: Isekadoya Beer Nekojima and Alpine Duet. The lineup pairs a yuzu-scented Hazy Double IPA with a West Coast IPA built around crisp bitterness.
WORLD BEER&DINING MIHAMA BASE, a craft beer specialist in Makuhari, added two new keg pours on the Wednesday after its regular day off. The new lineup is tuned for a hot, humid day: one beer leans into bright fruit and yuzu, while the other brings a clean West Coast bitterness.
Newly opened taps
- Isekadoya Beer "Nekojima"
A collaboration with Pomona Island from Manchester, UK. This Hazy Double IPA layers fresh yuzu aroma with hop-driven citrus and mango notes. At 8.0% ABV and 35 IBU, it is described as soft, complex, and slightly lighter in drinkability than a typical Hazy Double IPA.
- Alpine "Duet"
A signature West Coast IPA built on Simcoe and Amarillo hops. Expect grapefruit and orange peel on the nose, with a firm bitterness and a dry, clean finish. It comes in at 7.0% ABV and 41 IBU.
The day’s tap list also includes HEARTLAND, London Pride, No.06 MINAZUKI IPA, Analog Glow, Mosh Pit Hazy IPA, and pFreal West Coast IPA, giving the bar a mix of familiar names and hop-forward styles. Takeout is available as well, so the beers can be enjoyed on the spot or carried out.
The post also notes an upcoming "Shimai Eigyo no Hi, Cafe Edition" event on July 25, along with 4th-anniversary T-shirt preorders running through July 24. For beer drinkers in Makuhari, it is a useful update: fresh taps, a broad draft selection, and a venue that keeps its beer program active beyond the glass.
