New tap in Makuhari

MIHAMA BASE BEER STAND MAKUHARI added Isekadoya Beer’s `Lush Hop IPA` to the lineup on July 10. The post describes it as a revival brew that keeps the original concept and intent while being rebuilt with ISEKADO’s current brewing approach.

What it tastes like

It is an American IPA at 6.0% ABV and 55 IBU. The aroma leans toward grapefruit and orange, and the first sip brings a fresh citrus character with a firm, balancing bitterness. The beer is dry rather than sweet, so it finishes clean and invites another sip.

How the place works

WORLD BEER&DINING MIHAMA BASE in Makuhari is a craft-beer-focused spot where you can also take beers out. It is approaching its 4th anniversary next month, and reservations for the original memorial T-shirt have already opened. That makes this a good moment for regulars and first-time visitors alike.

The tap list also includes `HEARTLAND`, `London Pride`, `Drop the Hammer IPA`, `Final Horizon`, `DBA`, `Full Hop Alchemist r1 -2026-`, and `Axe Man`. With pilsner, bitter, pale ale, and multiple IPA styles on offer, the lineup gives you room to compare different approaches to hop bitterness and drinkability.

The venue also has a July 25 edition of `Shimai Eigyobinohi`, themed around a kissaten cafe. The food pairing leans into nostalgic cafe dishes, which should make it a solid stop for anyone who likes thinking about beer and food together.
