Business hours for April 12

The beer pub Taki〜AKANE〜JapaneseBeer&SakeDining in Dogenzaka, Shibuya will open at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 12 and operate until 11:00 p.m. In a post, the shop announced that the first two hours after opening will be 100 yen off as "Akane's Happy Time!"

Draft beers for the day

There are three draft beers on the list for the day. Together, they form a lineup that clearly shows the character of Japanese craft beer.

- Chiba, Locovia Sakura, Aromatic Draft (Kelsch)
- Osaka, Minoh Beer, Weizen
- Ibaraki, Hitachino Nest Beer, Dai-dai Ale (IPA)

The crisp drinking ease of a Kölsch, the soft wheat-derived character of a Weizen, and the citrus notes and bitterness of Dai-dai Ale. From a light, refreshing pour to a firmer IPA, the lineup makes it easy to build a tasting comparison.

A dish that matches the house style

Taki〜AKANE〜 also presents itself on its blog as a place centered on "Japanese craft beer and sake." That theme came through clearly in this post as well. On the food side, the suggested late-lunch pairing was yellowtail rice bowl and mini chicken nanban, making it easy to pair the beer with seafood and fried dishes.

The address is 404, Dai-2 Oban Building, 1-11-1 Dogenzaka, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo. In a corner of Dogenzaka, it is a place where beer takes center stage while food and sake can be enjoyed naturally, making it an easy stop from the afternoon on a day off.
