The beer pub CRAFT BEER BASE BUD in Osaka's Umeda has released its tap list for April 24. Located in the basement second floor of Osaka Station First Building, it is an easy stop to make on the way home from work.
The day's lineup features all 10 taps. Highlights include CRAFT BEER BASE x Matt Brynildson's "Gentle Lion (Modern American Pale Ale)", JOUFUKU Olfactory works / Jofuku's "Louche (Hazy Anise Ale)", Hopkotan's "Kunne (Schwarzbier)", and Revision's "What What What (Triple IPA)", creating a selection that spans countries and styles.
Most eye-catching of all is Hinterland's "30th Anniversary BarrelAged Eisbock : Barrel Aged Eisbock with Maple Syrup (new!!)." In the shop's comments, it is introduced as a featured beer in the latter half of Lager Fest, and it is said to be characterized by aromas derived from maple along with notes reminiscent of vanilla and caramel. In addition, 8bit x Bottle Logic's "Final Horizon (DDH Hazy IPA)", Cerebral's "Direct Current (West Coast IPA)", Harland's "Japanese Lager", and Wild East's "Patience & Fortitude (Czech Style Pale Lager)" are also on the list, making it possible to compare everything from hop-forward IPAs to crisp lager styles.
Nara Brewing's "TYPHINA (Kellebier)" is also included, giving the lineup a mix of familiar appeal and playful variety. It should suit not only those looking to try something new from the barrel, but also those who want to start with a light lager and move on to IPA, making it a day to enjoy the changing temperatures and flavors of the beers as they go.
