Event context

OIRASE BEER, based in Towada, Aomori, has been brewing since 1997. Its beers are made with Oirase source water from the Hakkoda foothills, and the lineup centers on European styles such as pilsner, dark lager, amber lager, and weizen, alongside products that make use of local Aomori ingredients. The brewery also operates a restaurant where visitors can enjoy fresh beer with regional food.

KANEKU BREWERY in the spotlight

In the Instagram post, KANEKU BREWERY was introduced as one of the participating breweries for Oktoberfest 2026. Brewing in Nango, a mountainous area of Hachinohe, the brewery presents itself as a place for casual craft beer enjoyment. Its approach is straightforward: make beers that lead to discovery and keep the experience approachable.

The recommended beer in the post was Citrus paradisi IPA. At the event, that beer serves as an entry point to KANEKU BREWERY's idea of beer that is easy to enjoy without overthinking it.

What OIRASE BEER is building

OIRASE BEER Oktoberfest 2026 is positioned as a showcase for Towada's beer culture ahead of the brand's 30th anniversary in 2027. By bringing together local breweries, food vendors, and music, the event reflects how OIRASE BEER connects place, beer, and community. It is a practical snapshot of the brewery's current role in Aomori's craft beer scene.
