MOSETSURI on draft in Kyoto

Beer pub 麥酒 夢詠ミ, located on the second floor of Shimaya Building in Kyoto’s Higashiyama Ward, has tapped MOSETSURI from Hokkaido-based Brasserie Knot. The announcement also highlights fried autumn salmon as a food pairing.

MOSETSURI is a summer ale named after Mosetsuri, the area of Tsurui Village where Brasserie Knot’s brewery is located. It is built around a dry finish, combining herbal notes from European hops with the fruit-forward character of American hops. At 4.0% ABV, the beer is designed to be light, crisp, and refreshing.

Its dry palate should work naturally with fried food. The aroma and gentle bitterness of MOSETSURI can cut through the fried coating while complementing the savory flavor of the salmon, making the pairing a fitting choice for an early autumn visit.

麥酒 夢詠ミ is a craft beer pub near Kyoto’s Gion area, offering beer-focused drinking in a central location. MOSETSURI is available on draft, giving guests a chance to enjoy Brasserie Knot’s seasonal beer in a fresh pour alongside a seasonal dish. Availability and food details may change, so checking with the pub before visiting is recommended.

The pub is located at 206 Nakano-cho, Shijo-dori Yamatooji Nishiiru, Higashiyama-ku, Kyoto, on the second floor of Shimaya Building.
