Event Overview


COEDO Brewery will hold a “Brewery Open Day” at the COEDO Craft Beer Brewery on Saturday, April 4, 2026. The event runs from 11:00 to 16:00, and admission is free. Visitors can enjoy draft beer near the barley fields while taking in the spring weather, and they can also join a brewery tour to see the brewing facilities with the brewer.

A Day Opening Up the Brewer’s Workplace


The tours are about 30 minutes long, with four sessions scheduled for 12:30, 13:30, 14:30, and 15:30. Participation is not by advance reservation; instead, visitors sign up at the reception on the day. The event’s defining feature is the chance to see the brewing site, which is not usually open to the public, together with explanations from the people who make the beer.

Food and snacks may be brought into the venue freely, but alcohol may not be brought in. The event will be canceled in case of rain, and the cancellation notice is scheduled to be posted on the official website and social media around 18:00 on April 3, the day before. Pets and children are welcome, and soft drinks will also be available.

A Venue That Reflects COEDO’s Identity


COEDO’s parent company, Kyodo Shoji, has been engaged in organic farming since the 1970s. Inspired by the barley that has long been used to enrich the soil in Kawagoe, the company’s path toward brewing beer has come to be remembered as the brand’s origin. It opened its brewery in 1996, launched COEDO as a craft beer brand in 2006, and in 2016 relocated the brewery to a lush green environment, continuing production in harmony with nature.

This Open Day is also an opportunity to experience the COEDO site shaped by that background. At the brewery in Higashimatsuyama, Saitama, it looks set to be a day where visitors can get closer to the brewer’s perspective alongside the spring scenery.
