"Strike Pilsner" is introduced by the bar as a lager aimed at being "just plain delicious." Built around the toasty aroma of malt and refined hop character, its appeal lies in a balance that makes it easy to keep drinking glass after glass.
"Kind of Gold," meanwhile, is a collaboration beer based on Shiga Kogen Beer's semi-regular "Sono Ju" and brewed with rice and honey added. It features aromas reminiscent of citrus and hassaku, a dry, structured bitterness, and a softer richness layered on top. It is being presented as a special beer brewed by Dogfish Head of the U.S. and Oxbow, together with Shiga Kogen Beer in Japan.
