Exactly, and that is why they can produce about 30 different kinds of beer a year. Small batches make it easier to experiment with recipes. Head brewer Shinichi Shinohara holds Beer Judge and Beer Coordinator qualifications, and also serves as a judge at international competitions.

The equipment is also unique: unlike most microbreweries, it uses fully electric brewing. They use Biac brewing equipment made in Canada. Since it does not use gas heat, temperature control is more precise.

Their standard "Senda Golden" is an American pale ale with IBU 35, so the hops really stand out. And one especially interesting line is the beer made with Edo Tokyo vegetables. A brown ale brewed with early-harvest myoga grown at Inoguchi Farm in Nerima won a silver award at the JAPAN GREAT BEER AWARDS 2019.

Also, at the 2021 JGBA, "Edo Tokyo Saison" and "Full Moon Rabbit" won gold awards. More recently, "Edo Komon" won silver at the International Beer Cup 2025. They even make a white ale using La France pears from Yamagata, so their range of adjunct ingredients is remarkably wide.

They opened in 2018. On the first floor, within walking distance of Sumiyoshi Station, brewing tanks are lined up, with 20 taps available at all times. You can enjoy the luxury of drinking beer brewed right in front of you, right there on the spot.
