The April 24 tap list has been updated

"Taki〜AKANE〜JapaneseBeer&SakeDining" in Shibuya Dogenzaka announced that it will be open on Thursday, April 24, from 5:00 p.m. to midnight. For the first two hours after opening, it also offers its signature "Akane Happy Time," where drinks are 100 yen off the regular price.

The draft lineup for the day consists of three beers: Sapporo Beer Shirohonoka, Shiga Kogen Beer Miyama Blonde, and Yokohama Bay Brewing Bay Dark. It is a well-rounded lineup, ranging from easy-drinking options to beers with a fuller flavor.

The spotlight is on Shiga Kogen Beer "Miyama Blonde"

The newly tapped "Miyama Blonde" is a beer inspired by Belgian saison, brewed with homegrown sake rice "Miyamanishiki" and homegrown hops "Shinshu Wase." It is described as having a lemon-like hop aroma, a refreshing drinkability that does not betray its 7% alcohol content, and a subtle balance of sweetness. It is also said to pair well with Japanese cuisine, making it easy to imagine alongside the restaurant's dishes.

The food centers on fresh fish and drinking snacks

That day also features a strong selection of fresh fish delivered by Captain Ishikawa. Large hachibiki, buri, red sea bream, octopus, umeiro, grunt, and kitsunedai are lined up, along with seasonal dishes such as charcoal grilling, tempura, and vinegared miso dressing. Other items include iburigakko with sake-lees cream cheese, firefly squid and udo with vinegared miso, fried oysters, and delicacies such as ume suisho and oyster shiokara, all of which are snacks that make you want to keep drinking beer slowly.

The restaurant, which champions "Japanese craft beer and sake," sits in the heart of Shibuya's nightlife district, yet it is the kind of place that suits slow, attentive drinking. It is a good choice for a night when you want to follow the character of each tap while pairing the beers with fresh fish and drinking snacks.
