Tap update on April 30
P2B Haus, a beer pub in Kichijoji Honcho, updated its tap list for its 4:00 PM to 11:00 PM service on April 30. This time, four new beers went on tap: Let's Beer Works '1759' (Irish Dry Stout), Hop Kotan 'Ignition' (Session IPL), Shingetsu Beer 'Op.11' (Double IPA), and HINO BREWING 'Bakalager' (Czech Lager), which were added to the lineup.
'1759' is served on a nitro tap and introduced as a dry dark beer inspired by Guinness. It is characterized by the roasty aroma from roasted malt, restrained sweetness, and a pleasant bitterness that lingers at the end, making it the kind of beer that's easy to reach for as either a first pint or a final one.
The day's lineup
The 'Today's Beer' list for the day also included DVB 'Mad Eye' (Hazy Triple IPA), P2B Haus 'CTO IPA' (American IPA), Knot 'HARBOR' (Session IPA), HINO BREWING 'Gold Ban!' (Golden Ale), Kanpai! Brewing 'Yureizaka Hazy IPA' (Hazy IPA), Miyazaki Hideji Beer 'Kurikuro' (Dark Chestnut Imperial Stout), Nara Brewing 'UNDERWATER' (Sake Yeast Beer), and Nara Brewing 'UNDERWATER :LUMINOUS' (Sake Yeast Beer).
From options with plenty of IPA heft to a light-drinking Session IPA, deep dark flavors, and yeast-driven specialties using sake yeast, the lineup offers a wide range from glass to glass. Even just the taps let you compare the assertive hops, malt depth, and fermentation-derived nuances across styles.
