CraftBeerSpot Hathor taps Shiga Kogen’s Baby Blonde Miyama and a fruit-forward Firestone Walker beer
CraftBeerSpot Hathor, a 16-tap beer pub in Kyobashi, Osaka, updated its August 17 draft lineup with Shiga Kogen Beer’s Baby Blonde Miyama and Firestone Walker’s Primal Elements Blueberry & Marionberry.
CraftBeerSpot Hathor in Osaka’s Kyobashi area runs 16 taps and also serves house-smoked dishes, making it a practical stop for people who want beer and food in one place. In its August 17 draft update, the bar listed Shiga Kogen Beer’s Baby Blonde Miyama as the day’s opening beer and Firestone Walker’s Primal Elements Blueberry & Marionberry as the recommended pour.
Baby Blonde Miyama is described as the younger sibling of the brewery’s popular Miyama Blonde. Brewed with home-grown sake rice, it keeps a light sweetness while finishing dry and refreshing, with enough hop presence to stay lively without becoming heavy.
Primal Elements Blueberry & Marionberry starts from a blend of a barrel-aged wild-yeast saison, a Flanders red fermented with marionberries, and a lager base. The beer is then aged with fresh Washington blueberries in French oak foudres, resulting in a deep purple pour with blueberry sweetness, tartness, and tannic structure.
The rest of the tap list spans Asahi Super Dry, Beer Hearn Sansho White Ale, two Onidensetsu KINONI Pale Ale variants, Minamishinshu 30th Pale Ale, Nara Brewing Double Swisher, Isekadoya Beer Brain Melts Ultra Heaven, and two BAREBOTTLE beers, giving the pub a broad comparison range in one visit.
