New Tap
vivo! BEER+DININGBAR, a craft-beer pub tucked under Ikebukuro East Exit and pouring 20 drafts, has added TOKYO ALE WORKS' Yoyogi Lazy Hazy DDH. The DDH hazy IPA is described as juicy, with notes reminiscent of passion fruit, mango, and pineapple, making it a natural pick for hop-forward drinkers.
Food Returns
The kitchen also brings back vivo! open cheese omelet, chili con carne, and corned beef with cabbage sauté, which had disappeared after a recent menu change. A seasonal spicy pork hamburger steak has also joined the menu. That gives the bar a stronger food lineup for pairing with fruit-driven hazies or heavier dark beers.
More to Pour
Elsewhere on the taps are TOKYO ALE WORKS' In Cahoot Vol7*By the Basy IPA and Remouse Blended B.A. Imperial Stout~Special ver., plus beers from Inkhorn Brewing, Shiga Kogen Beer, Minoh Beer, and classic pours such as draft Guinness from St. James's Gate and Kirin Heartland. It is the sort of neighborhood beer bar where the first pint and the last pint can both be chosen with intent.
