Beer Again Brewing releases 'CHUNAI' Belgian White with Harupin of Dasara Saito Couple
Beer Again Brewing in Gotemba, Shizuoka has unveiled 'CHUNAI,' a Belgian White collaboration with YouTuber Harupin of Dasara Saito Couple. The beer is built around New Summer Orange for a light, citrus-forward profile.
The collaboration
Beer Again Brewing, based at the foot of Mount Fuji in Gotemba, Shizuoka, has released a new beer called 'CHUNAI.' It is a Belgian White at 4.5% ABV, and it is the brewery's first beer in that style. The beer was made as a collaboration with Harupin, a YouTuber from Dasara Saito Couple.
Flavor design
The key ingredient is New Summer Orange supplied by Sato Farm in Higashiizu. The recipe layers the soft wheat body of the style with New Summer Orange peel and coriander, aiming for a bright aroma and an easy-drinking finish. The brewery says the beer also leaves a gentle sweetness and rounded wheat character at the end, so it is not only light, but also balanced.
Brewery context
Beer Again Brewing is located in Gotemba, Shizuoka, and says it uses natural water from Mount Fuji to bring out the character of its ingredients. The brewery also works across a campsite, bar, and event space, with a goal of making beers people want to toast with again. 'CHUNAI' fits that approach well: it ties local ingredients, a collaborator's taste, and the brewery's own style exploration into one release.
With its citrus brightness and soft white-ale texture, the beer looks suited to a first pour, daytime drinking, or a casual outdoor session.
