Brewing Notes
Beer Again Brewing is based in Gotemba, Shizuoka, at the foot of Mount Fuji. The brewery uses natural Fuji spring water and makes beers meant for campgrounds, bars, and events. Its new release, SUN BASE SAISON, follows that approach with a focused, ingredient-driven saison.
According to the post, the beer is designed to be enjoyed in a white-wine or sparkling-wine-like way. It is brewed with Chardonnay-derived wine pomace and fermented with Saison yeast. The beer comes in at about 5.0% ABV and roughly 12.9 IBU, with a very dry finish and little sweetness.
Motueka is the main hop, adding bright notes of lime and lemon alongside white-grape character and a wine-like impression. The brewery describes the beer with keywords such as White Grape, Lime, Lemon, Dry, and Wine-like. The result is a saison that should pair well with food and remain approachable even for people who do not usually drink much beer.
The label was completed with support from SUN BASE, a car-camping spot in Inagi, Tokyo. For a brewery built around Mount Fuji water and outdoor settings, this release shows a clear interest in combining local brewing identity with wine-inspired ingredients and citrus-forward hop character.
