An Evening with Craftbank Brewing

Craft beer TOCA, a beer pub in Inokashira, Mitaka, Tokyo, will host an event featuring Craftbank Brewing, a brewery based in Fukuchiyama, Kyoto, from around 7 p.m. on September 21, 2026.

The event was arranged at short notice after TOCA and Craftbank Brewing discussed the plan. The tap lineup is scheduled to include four beers, including a limited beer brewed or selected for the event. A fifth beer may also be added if preparations are completed in time. The announcement does not specify individual beer names, styles, or alcohol percentages, so the final lineup will be something to check at the venue.

Craftbank Brewing brewer Hasei and food-and-beverage representative Ueno are also scheduled to visit. Brewery merchandise is expected to be available, along with hormone meat and kujo negi, a Kyoto green onion, prepared for the event. The combination offers guests a chance to enjoy Craftbank Brewing beers alongside food connected to the brewery’s region.

A typhoon may affect the area, and TOCA is asking guests not to force themselves to come if conditions are unsafe. The pub’s location is one of its advantages, however: it is approximately a 10-second walk from the station, making it relatively easy to reach even in rainy weather. The event is also aimed at people who had planned to stay home due to the weather or decided not to attend another evening beer event.

Because it coincides with the evening session of Keyaki, the beers are expected to be served in plastic cups. TOCA also indicates that pricing will be kept approachable. Visitors interested in tasting several Craftbank Brewing beers can check the weather and venue updates before heading to the pub.
