OHLOY Brewing Tap Takeover Set for October 24 at Craft Beer TOCA
Craft beer TOCA in Mitaka will host an OHLOY Brewing tap takeover on October 24. The event will feature eight beers brewed at OHLOY’s own brewery, including the West Coast IPA “Seki,” with brewer Watanabe scheduled to attend.
Craft beer TOCA, a beer pub in Inokashira, Mitaka, has announced an OHLOY Brewing tap takeover for October 24.
The event is the first of three consecutive monthly tap takeovers planned through the end of the year. OHLOY Brewing recently moved from brewing at Phantom to production at its own brewery, and TOCA will pour eight beers brewed there.
One highlighted beer is “Seki,” a West Coast IPA described by the TOCA team as one of its favorites. The style is known for a pronounced bitterness and expressive hop character, making it a fitting beer for exploring OHLOY Brewing’s new phase. The remaining seven beers have not been named in the announcement and will be confirmed through the tap list.
Brewer Watanabe is also scheduled to visit on October 24, giving guests an opportunity to talk directly about the beers and their brewing background. Located in Tokyo’s Mitaka area, Craft beer TOCA is a casual beer pub suited to both everyday drinking and focused tasting. Guests can enjoy a flight of OHLOY beers while meeting the brewer in person.
