At the beer pub craft beer BLUE in Minami Ward, Sagamihara, Kanagawa Prefecture, two new beers have been announced on tap. This time's stars are Kyoto Brewing's "MARIO" and KaruizawaQ's "Under the Lights." As the name suggests, the bar has a calm, blue-toned atmosphere, and its lineup is full of beers to savor slowly.

"MARIO" is a Belgian Double IPA. This hoppy beer combines Citra and Simcoe, layering pineapple- and tropical-fruit-like aromas over the distinctive character of Belgian yeast. It also has the gentle sweetness of caramel malt and a dry finish, making it substantial without feeling too heavy.

"Under the Lights" is an Oatmeal Stout. Brewed with oats for a lighter touch, it features a gentle roast character reminiscent of cacao and coffee, along with restrained sweetness. Its bitterness is not overly strong and lingers pleasantly, making it the kind of beer that reveals different facets as it warms.

The tap list that day included the following eight beers.

- Otama Brewing "Small Green Apple Sakekasu Sour Ale"
- Kyoto Brewing "Irotoridori NZ Pils Edition"
- Kyoto Brewing "MARIO"
- GANGI BREWING "ZESTER"
- FUJIYAMA HUNTERS BEER "FIGHTING GIRLS"
- DD4D BREWING "Capybara Love"
- Repubrew "HEARTS UP! IPA60"
- KaruizawaQ "Under the Lights"

With a lineup that spans sours, pilsners, IPAs, hazy IPAs, and stouts, there's fun in choosing according to your mood. Since the notice says service starts at 5 p.m., it sounds like a good place to stop by after work and work through the two fresh taps as the centerpiece of the evening.
