Two New IPAs from Niigata
craft beer BLUE, a beer pub in Minami-ku, Sagamihara, will open two new taps on October 6, 2026.
Joken Brewin Lab’s “Kaerenai Futari” is a Dry IPA with a light, dry, crisp palate. Its hop character brings notes reminiscent of citrus, tropical fruit, and white grapes while retaining a clear IPA presence. The clean finish makes it an easy beer to follow with another glass.
The second release is tOki brewery’s “Code v4.0,” a West Coast IPA brewed with Citra LUPOMAX and Vic Secret hops. Citrus and pineapple-like aromas are joined by a resinous, piney character, creating a bright and firmly hop-driven profile.
An Eight-Beer Tap List
The day’s tap list also includes B.M.B BREWERY’s mango-infused “Beron Mango Hazy,” NAMACHAん Brewing’s fruit sour “WINS Kir Imperial,” and B.R.E.W’s jalapeño session IPA “Cerveza Caliente.” “Cerveza Caliente” and PAINT PALETTE BREWING’s “Goodtimes District” were listed as nearly sold out, so guests interested in either beer may want to visit early.
The remaining taps feature BREW CLASSIC’s “Umiyuri” and BAK’s “Good Morning-san,” giving drinkers options ranging from IPA and sour ale to porter.
Located on the second floor of Garden Building II in Sagamihara’s Sagamidai area, craft beer BLUE offers a chance to explore changing taps in a relaxed beer-pub setting. The pub opens from 5 p.m. Guests can start with one of the two new Niigata IPAs and compare it with the broader tap lineup.
