Camado Brewery HAKOFUNE, a brewpub in Mizunami, Gifu, has updated its weekly tap list. The post covers the lineup for August 21 to 23 and highlights six draft beers on tap.
The current selection includes Anki Lager, Natsuzora Sansho Ale, Kawachi Bankan Sour, Tachibi no Gi IPA, Discovery #1 High Aroma Hazy IPA, and Kanjuku Ume Brut IPA. The Brut IPA replaces the brewery's Schwarz for the moment and is brewed with fully ripened plums from Kamado Town. According to the post, the beer layers aromas reminiscent of apricot, peach, and pear, aiming for a sparkling-wine-like profile rather than a sharp green-plum sourness.
HAKOFUNE offers freshly poured draft beer from six taps in an attached brewery setting. Another distinctive feature is the pairings with ceramic beer cups developed with local potters, reflecting the area's Mino ware culture. Food options include house-smoked mixed nuts, pickled radish cream cheese, seasonal vegetable snacks, beer-braised pork, and keema curry. The venue has six counter seats and 16 indoor seats, and also accepts weekday private bookings.
For beer fans heading to Kamado, this is a spot where the tap list, local ingredients, and regional craft context come together in one place.
