The "crystallization of romance" keeps flowing on tap at Highbury CAVE

Yokohama’s Hanasaki-cho beer pub Highbury -The Cave of Beer- (3-99 Hanasaki-cho, Naka Ward, Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture) announced in an Instagram post that ONMENBRAU has been added as a permanent offering. The style is Rauch Bock (ABV 8%), an edition brewed using a coolship.

According to the post, the bar is currently serving the unfiltered version. When the next keg is tapped, a centrifuge-filtered version is also scheduled to be available, making it possible to compare different finishes of the same beer. For beer fans, being able to follow one beer across multiple conditions is an especially notable point.

In addition, the Mikkeller x Baeren "Coolship Vienna Lager (ABV 5.5%)", also made with a coolship, is still available but only in very limited quantity. The lineup lets guests enjoy a smoky, full-bodied Rauchbock-style beer alongside a lighter Vienna lager-style beer.

The post also announced a preview event to be held on March 22 at another location, "HOME (Gyoen)," and shared guest beer information including U.B.P. BREWERY "IROHA", Fujizakura Kogen Beer Rauchbock (aged 6 years), and Baeren Vienna Lager.

The charm of the bar lies in being able to slowly enjoy a highly limited beer in a cave-like space that truly suits the name "CAVE." Right now is the perfect time to experience not only ONMENBRAU itself, but also the broader coolship context in one visit.
