The lineup in the taproom is centered on the brewery's own beers, with one guest keg also on tap. From the familiar Itsumo no, Nama. to a smoothie sour, smoke bitter, and hojicha ale, the wide range of flavors is very much this place's style. As a brewpub, another appeal is being able to compare beers that reflect the brewers' own intentions, making it easy to stop in for a drink in the middle of the day.
The beer drawing the most attention this time is the highly concept-driven “Hobo Haji Shandy Gaff.” By layering ginger and lemon peel onto the beer base, it should show a different expression in its aroma. Rather than leaning too far toward sweetness or acidity, it seems like the kind of beer that can be enjoyed with food, and its character should stand out clearly when tasted side by side with the house regulars.
