Brew Lab Kurayoshi (Kurayoshi Beer Co., Ltd.) announced in its crowdfunding activity report that total support had surpassed 2 million yen. In the post, it expressed gratitude, saying, "Thanks to all of you, we have surpassed 2 million yen. Thank you very much," and called for additional support as the project enters its final stretch.

This campaign is titled, "We want everyone to make and toast a beer grown from seedlings in Sekigane, Tottori!" The funding goal was 1.54 million yen, and at the time of confirmation the total support had reached 2,045,000 yen, with 132% of the goal achieved and 119 backers. Even just by the numbers, this is a highly impactful milestone for a local brewery challenge.

The updates also stated a plan to use the funds not only for equipment preparation, but first for stock-division work as well. Rather than ending with a simple "goal achieved" announcement, the project also addresses how the money will be fed into the next production steps, giving it the realism of a project that has entered the implementation phase.

Brew Lab Kurayoshi is a brewery based in the Shirokabe Dozo district of Kurayoshi, Tottori Prefecture. Under the slogan "Tradition x New," it has been developing beers that make use of local ingredients. Its lineup includes "Nashi Brew" made with Oushu pears, "Ume BREW" made with wild plum from Yurihama Town, and sake-kasu-based beers developed in collaboration with sake breweries, all of which transform local context into flavor.

This breakthrough past 2 million yen is not only proof that the funding has been secured, but also evidence that drinkers are continuing to respond to the brewery's effort to connect local ingredients, people, and places. Craft beer is both an "experience of drinking" and an "experience of learning the background." This is a milestone that makes you want to keep following the story of what kind of scenery Kurayoshi's next glass will come from.
