Brew Lab Kurayoshi will host the first Kurayoshi Beer Fest on July 19 at its BREW LAB KURAYOSHI venue. The event runs from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and will feature beers from 475 Beer and Harenokuni Brewery alongside the host brewery.
Event details
- Date: Sunday, July 19, 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
- Venue: BREW LAB KURAYOSHI, Higashinaka-machi, Kurayoshi, Tottori
- Breweries participating: Brew Lab Kurayoshi, 475 Beer, Harenokuni Brewery
The event will take place at BREW LAB KURAYOSHI, the brewery-restaurant operated by Kurayoshi Beer. The site sits near the center of Kurayoshi's historic white-walled storehouse district. Kurayoshi Beer was established in 2019 and has built its identity around the concept of blending tradition with something new.
475 Beer, which began as a crowdfunding project, is known as the first brewery in Yonago. Its lineup includes beers that use local ingredients, such as an American pale ale with lemon peel and a rice ale brewed with Yonago-grown Kinnumusume rice.
Harenokuni Brewery was founded in April 2025 in Wake, Okayama Prefecture, and produces and sells craft beer from that base. The brewery has also been appearing at events outside its home prefecture.
For beer fans, the Kurayoshi event offers a chance to compare different regional breweries in one place. Combined with a walk through the historic district, it should be a straightforward but appealing afternoon focused on the beers and the people behind them.
