TBE Brewing Announces 10 Domestic and International Drafts and NEXT TAP in Its April 29 Keg Update
The Ebisu beer pub TBE Brewing has released its April 29 keg lineup. In addition to 10 draft beers from Japan and abroad, including beers from CRAK Brewery, Ise Kadoya Brewery, and Shiga Kogen Beer, it also announced two candidates for the next tap. The update also included revised GW holiday opening hours.
TBE Brewing, the beer pub on the second floor of the Shinbori Guitar Building in Minami-Ebisu, announced its April 29 keg lineup. The post described the bar packed with regular customers, with counter seats and tables filled while kegs kept being emptied, giving a clear sense of the shop's unpretentious atmosphere where draft beer can be enjoyed casually.
The on-tap lineup for the day included CRAK Brewery's "PIZZAPILS FREE STYLE," Ise Kadoya Brewery's "Classic Pale Ale," Swan Lake's "Amber Swan Ale," Mya-Brew's "Sakura Pao Pads," G-BRAND BEERERS' "Rock'n'Roll IPA," Ishinomaki Hop Works' "Strawberry Hazy IPA," Shiga Kogen Beer’s "Shiga Kogen IPA" and "Itsu no Juu No.10 IPA," Outsider's "Lagoon Juicy IPA," and Yorocco Beer's "Yegzit." Centered on Japanese breweries, the lineup lets you follow a wide range of styles at once, from IPA and pale ale to hazy and lager-leaning beers.
It also teased next tap beers: Black Tide's "#480 Tohoku Pride" and DOGFISH x OXBOW x SHIGAKOGEN's "Kind of Gold." The post noted that some beers were running low, so anyone interested would want to secure a pint early.
The food changes daily, and today's sashimi is wild Indian tuna. Other dishes on offer include grape beef shoulder steak, baked marinated pork spare ribs, grilled bone-in Daisen chicken thigh, barley-fed pork fillet tonkatsu, softly simmered beef tendon with sansho pepper, Tochio-age and mixed fried tofu topped with scallions, and bacon penne arrabbiata, all easy matches for beer. During the Golden Week period, opening hours are irregular: it opens at 1:00 p.m. on the 29th, at 5:00 p.m. on the 30th and May 1, and is closed on the 6th and 10th. It's a place worth remembering for following draft turnover while also enjoying a full meal.
