Pecora Beer will hold its brewery anniversary event, 2nd Brew-iversary, on August 29 and August 30 to mark two years since the release of its first batch. The event will take place at the brewery's taproom in Asao Ward, Kawasaki, Kanagawa.

The brewery focuses on clean, crisp beers with restrained bitterness, with American styles forming the core of its lineup. Its attached taproom, Pecora Beer Kitchen, serves house-brewed beers alongside snacks.

Planned highlights for the anniversary weekend include:

- Release of a 2nd anniversary commemorative beer
- Freshly roasted pork served as a special food menu item
- A limited tap opening of the Belgian lambic Oud Beersel SIMCOE dry-hopped lambic
- A rock-paper-scissors game with original merchandise as prizes

The anniversary beer is described as a Double Dry Hopped Modern West Coast IPA with hops and yeast-derived aromas pushed as far as possible, at 18 g/L of dry hopping. The food menu will feature roast pork with a Scotch bonnet sauce.

The schedule lists opening at 12:00, a toast and roast pork service at 16:00, and the prize game at 18:00. The brewery also notes that reservations are not accepted, the event will be standing-room only, food options will be limited, and beer flights will not be available.
