The brewpub "Mame Mame Beer," located in Sakate, Shodoshima Town, Kagawa Prefecture, will hold a tap takeover at TARUTARU in Takamatsu City. The event will be held on Friday, May 22, from 15:00 to 23:00. Inside the venue, five draft beers from Mame Mame Beer will be served in sequence.

This lineup is built entirely around ingredients and character from the island. The beers planned for service are:

- Shiro Mame Mame: A white ale woven together with lemon, herbs, and a variety of island ingredients, 4%
- Aka Mame Mame: A red ale with a gentle aroma of island citrus, 5%
- Midori Mame Mame (yellow-green): A juicy NEIPA with bright, floral hop aroma. Enriched with vanilla beans, 6.5%
- UMEESUMOMO: A sour saison featuring the refreshing tartness of plum and peach plum, and Shodoshima double plum, 6%
- Makkuro Mame Mame: A soy sauce imperial stout. A beer made with long-aged soy sauce moromi lees, 10%

Mame Mame Beer is a brewery that brews small batches of handmade beer using elements from Shodoshima, and its beers are also served in the dining space attached to the brewery. Normally it is a location where you can feel the island atmosphere, but this time it offers a chance to enjoy island beer in the city at TARUTARU in Takamatsu.

TARUTARU is known as a dining spot where guests can carefully enjoy the character of beer poured from the tap. At a TAP TAKE OVER like this one, it is easy to compare different styles from the same brewery and appreciate the range across aroma, bitterness, acidity, and sweetness. With everything from standard white ale and red ale to NEIPA, sour saison, and imperial stout, it is a chance to move from a light pour to a rich, full-bodied one.

This project, in which a Shodoshima brewpub connects five kegs at a Takamatsu venue, fully showcases the breadth of Mame Mame Beer. For anyone who wants to compare recipes born on the island at a city tap, it looks set to be an unmissable night.
