Hansharo Beer unveils Mango & Lime Sour, a limited fruit gose
Hansharo Beer Brewing has introduced Mango & Lime Sour, a limited release that pairs mango sweetness with lime acidity. Brewed as a Fruits Gose and accented with local Heda salt, it is positioned as a crisp, easy-drinking beer for the summer season.
Hansharo Beer Brewing is based in Izu-Nirayama, Izu-no-Kuni City, Shizuoka, and was founded in 1997 by Kuraya Narusawa. The brewery is rooted in a region known for the Nirayama Reverberatory Furnace, a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site, and it has continued to release beers that reflect local character and ingredients.
The new beer, Mango & Lime Sour, is labeled as a Fruits Gose. It brings together the rich sweetness of mango and the sharp acidity of lime, then finishes with local Heda salt from Izu to keep the fruit character bright rather than simply sweet.
The product specs are ABV 5.0% and IBU 5. The tasting chart attached to the release suggests a light body, with acidity, brightness and aroma pushed to the front. With bitterness kept low, it should read as a clear, refreshing beer when served cold.
- Style: Fruits Gose
- ABV: 5.0%
- IBU: 5
- Key flavors: Mango, lime, Heda salt
As a seasonal release for the hottest months, it looks well suited to outdoor drinking, seaside meals and other relaxed summer occasions. It is a straightforward example of Hansharo Beer's local approach meeting the crisp, saline profile of a fruit gose.
