Marumugi, a beer pub in Tokyo’s Arakicho district, has announced five craft beers for September 13, 2026. The selection ranges from a gentle American pale ale and a peach weizen to a bold rye IPA, a historic-style lager, and a light, hoppy pale ale.
September 13 tap list
Located on the second floor of Ichibankan Building in Arakicho, Tokyo, Jibeer Bar Marumugi is serving five craft beers on September 13. Large pours are priced at 1,200 yen plus applicable additions, while small pours are 900 yen plus applicable additions, making a tasting flight-style visit easy to plan.
- Akane / COEDO, Saitama — 5.0%. A gently aromatic American pale ale described as soft as an autumn breeze.
- Brewer’s Nightmare Rye IPA / Baird Brewing, Shizuoka — 7.0%. Spicy rye character meets assertive bitterness for IPA drinkers who prefer intensity.
- Domestic Peach Weizen Hakuho Ver. / Minoh Beer, Osaka — 5.0%. A juicy wheat beer featuring the flavor of Japanese Hakuho peaches.
- Sakura Beer / Mojiko Retro Beer, Fukuoka — 5.5%. A beer from Mojiko with a Taisho-era romantic character.
- Little Thing / Hinomoto Brewing, Tokyo — 4.5%. Light, hoppy, and easy to drink on a warm day.
The lineup covers a broad range of profiles: delicate malt and hop aroma, spicy rye bitterness, ripe peach fruitiness, a nostalgic local beer style, and a refreshing low-ABV option. Starting with small pours allows guests to compare the beers before settling on a favorite.
Local autumn festivals and bon-odori events are expected around Arakicho, so the streets may be busier than usual. Marumugi notes that the pub itself should remain relatively relaxed, offering a quieter place to enjoy a beer away from the crowds. Doors open at 6 p.m. The pub is closed on Tuesdays and public holidays.
