Blade Factory Brewing in Seki City, Gifu Prefecture, has unveiled a new batch of its core lineup. In this post, two beers with very different characters, a lager and an IPA, are presented side by side, showing the breadth of the brewery's approach to flavor.

- YANAGIBA Lager - Hoppy Lager
In addition to New Zealand-grown Motueka hops, this batch also uses Waimea for the first time. Its crisp, clean drinkability is layered with a refreshing citrus character reminiscent of lime and pink grapefruit, while bitterness is kept restrained.

- GYUTO IPA - West Coast IPA
A beer that combines fruitiness reminiscent of guava and orange with a clear bitterness like orange zest. Its dank finish from Galaxy hops is also highlighted, making it a beer designed for drinkers who prefer bitter beers.

Blade Factory Brewing is known as a brewery that continually releases distinctive core beers from Seki City. This announcement also contrasts a light, easy-drinking lager with an IPA that puts the outline of hops front and center, clearly showing different directions even within the same "core" lineup. It is a release that is enjoyable not only as a seasonal pint, but also for the pleasure of tasting side by side and following the brewery's design intent.
