Neko no Shukaijo, a craft beer and spice-food bar in Umegaoka, Setagaya, sits about 30 seconds from Odakyu’s Umegaoka Station. Alongside draft beer, the shop also serves cans and bottles for both drinking in and taking away, making it easy to pair drinks with a meal.

In its latest post, the bar announced that its ru rou noodles are back after a long time. The bowl uses a simple pork broth with kombu added as a hidden accent, paired with rice noodles used for pho and topped generously with braised pork belly cooked in a rich sauce. Cilantro and green onion add aroma, making it suitable both as a beer companion and as a closing bowl after a few drinks.
