Better life with upcycle opens Third Grain on Aug. 20
Better life with upcycle has announced that Third Grain will grand open on Thursday, Aug. 20 at 11:00 a.m. The new taproom cafe in Yokohama brings bread, coffee, and craft beer together in one place.
A new base in Kannai
Third Grain, introduced by Better life with upcycle, will open at Nakasato Building 1F, 4-48 Sumiyoshicho, Naka Ward, Yokohama. The Instagram post says it is just steps from Exit 9 of Kannai Station on the Yokohama Municipal Subway. Hours are listed as 11:00 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. with last orders at 10:00 p.m., and the venue is closed on Tuesdays.
An extension of the brand's background
Better life with upcycle is based in Ebina, Kanagawa. On its official site, the brand says it was built on a bakery founded in 1923 and that it adds new value to food loss by turning bread scraps into beer. That bakery-and-brewery identity carries into Third Grain, which is described as a place to enjoy bread, coffee, and craft beer in one venue.
Opening day is set
The post says the opening had been delayed several times and that the team is finally able to share the date. With the grand opening now fixed for Aug. 20, Third Grain becomes a concrete expression of the brand's upcycling-minded approach to brewing and hospitality.
