Matsumoto Brewery Honmachi location to offer one-keg-only NYC collab Hazy IPA "Dumpling"
On March 13, 2026, Matsumoto Brewery announced on Instagram that it would be carrying the collaborative beer "Dumpling" by Other Half Brewing × The Source Dinner × yuyaboys. It will be served at the Taproom Honmachi location, with only one keg available. The style is Hazy IPA, and the ABV is 6.2%.
Matsumoto Brewery (Nagano) is bringing an overseas-made collaboration beer to Matsumoto.
According to the Instagram post, the beer in question is "Dumpling" under the name Other Half Brewing × The Source Dinner × yuyaboys. The beer style is Hazy IPA, the ABV is 6.2%, and the IBU is described in the post as "mystery," so it has not been disclosed. The price is half pint 1,500 yen / pint 2,400 yen. It will be served at Matsumoto Brewery Taproom Honmachi as a guest beer limited to one keg.
The post also notes that the beer was brewed at New York City's Other Half Brewing by Mr. Adachi of The Source Dinner and Mr. Yuya of Watering Hole. It further explains that the hop used is a new variety called "Thora," so the number of places in Japan where it can be drank is expected to be quite limited.
On its official website, Matsumoto Brewery says it makes beer that takes advantage of North Alps water and locally sourced ingredients. While rooted in a local context, the brewery is also creating opportunities to experience international connections like this one in Matsumoto, which is worth noting.
This "Dumpling" looks like a beer that Hazy IPA fans, as well as anyone interested in beers brewed on-site by overseas breweries, will want to check out.
