A release tied to Jamaica Independence Day

Beer Stand Tsubamenosu in Sumiyoshi, Tokyo, has opened Ise Kadoya Beer’s Mr.DANK. In the post, the bar links the beer to Jamaica Independence Day and to the word “dank,” a slang term often used to describe intensely aromatic hops.

Mr.DANK is introduced as a DDH West Coast IPA with tropical notes reminiscent of mango and passion fruit, along with a dense hop character that carries through the finish.

A solid tap lineup

The bar’s official site says KIRIN Heartland and Ise Kadoya Beer Pale Ale are always on tap. At the time of the post, the lineup was:

- KIRIN Heartland
- Ise Kadoya Beer Classic Pale Ale
- Ise Kadoya Beer Mr.DANK
- Ise Kadoya Beer Hime White
- Sankt Gallen Pineapple Ale

That makes five taps in total, including four craft beers.

There is no cover charge, the space is non-smoking, and non-beer drinks are also available. It is the kind of neighborhood beer pub where you can drop in for both familiar staples and a fresh seasonal pour.
