Highlights

At P2B Haus in Kichijoji, the collaboration beer "Gekizaka" from Kanpai! Brewing × Matsumoto Brewery has switched from the Kanpai-brewed version, after the nitrogen has faded out, to the Matsumoto Brewery-brewed version starting today. Anyone who has tried both side by side should be able to enjoy the change in character brought by the difference in brewing.

Tasting Notes

This lineup spans a wide range, from Hazy Triple IPA to Dark Mild, saison, coffee beers, and sake-yeast-derived beers. It's easy to choose whether you want a solid hop hit or something calmer like a dark beer or gentle lager, and it really shows the fun of tasting side by side that defines a beer pub.

The shop is P2B Haus on the 2nd floor of Wakamatsu Building in Kichijoji Honcho, Tokyo. The post notes that families with children and non-alcohol drinkers are welcome, conveying an atmosphere that's easy to drop into without feeling stiff. On April 26, it's open from 12:00 to 21:00, making it a perfect spot for a leisurely day of craft beer from noon onward.
