June 14: a private-service crawfish event

Osaka’s torne_craftbeer, a beer pub in the Tenjinbashisuji-Rokuchome area, hosted its crawfish event, “Crawfish & Cold Pints,” on June 14. The post said the day was fully reserved, so the venue operated as a private booking from opening to close. Service began at 4 p.m., making it a special event-focused day rather than a regular walk-in session.

Four new taps on the day

The core of the lineup was American IPA, with four new taps added for the event:

- `West Coast IPA` / Green Flash Brewing
- `Furious IPA` / Surly Brewing
- `Mai Tai P.A.` / Alvarado Street Brewery
- `El Clásico` / Craft Bank Brewing

Each beer brings a distinct hop profile, bitterness, and body, so the set is appealing for IPA fans who want to compare styles side by side. `Mai Tai P.A.` was presented as a juicy, Mosaic-driven West Coast IPA.

Eleven beers spanning Japan, the U.S., and Belgium

Beyond the fresh taps, the board also included a wide range of beers from Japan and abroad.

- `Good Old nitro ver.` / Fukuoka Craft Brewing
- `Fika nitro ver.` / Fill Brewing
- `Mi Casa Tu Casa.` / Fill Brewing
- `Niwaka Lager.` / Fukuoka Craft Brewing
- `Lemon Ale.` / Fukuoka Craft Brewing
- `Sea & Tomato Mexican Ale.` / Fukuoka Craft
- `Winter Lambiek` / Oud Beersel

Torne Craft Beer is known as a carefully curated craft-beer pub where drinkers can slow down and focus on the glass in front of them. In the Tenroku area, the venue’s appeal lies in its broad range of styles: hoppy IPAs, crisp lagers, fruit-forward ales, and even Belgian lambic. On this crawfish-event day, the lineup showed that range clearly, giving beer fans plenty to look at even before the first pour.
